What is OptoLink?
OptoLink makes short links that open screens inside your mobile app. A link like https://links.yourbrand.com/acme/promo sends someone who has your app straight to that screen. Someone who doesn't goes to the app store, and the link's destination can survive the install and open on first launch. Every tap is recorded for analytics.
What it does
One link format, three jobs:
- Deep linking. iOS Universal Links and Android App Links open your app on the link's destination when the app is installed. See Deep linking: direct vs deferred.
- Deferred deep linking. When the app is missing, the tap routes through the store and the destination is delivered on first open, matched back to the original click. See Deferred deep linking & the match flow.
- Click analytics. Clicks, installs, matches, and your app's own events land in the portal's reports, broken down by country, OS, device, and UTM values. See Clicks, events & analytics data.
Who it's for
You set it up once as a developer: register your app in the portal, add an SDK to your app, create links. After that, teammates who never touch code can create and share links from the portal, download QR codes, and read the same analytics.
